Don’t Fail As A Leader – COMMUNICATE MORE!

You may think it’s the time to stop communicating with your employees and your community because you aren’t sure about where you’re going – but that is the wrong decision to make.

During times of crisis people want more communication even if you don’t know what the end may be. Now is the time for radical transparency like Ray Dalio says in his book Principles. Now is the time to communicate with your employees the things that you SHOULD be talking with them about, including where the company is.

Your employees need to see your face on vlogs. You need to start sending more emails. Consistency really matters when it comes to communication and if your company is only putting social media posts up every other day that is not enough. It isn’t the time to sell your services, but it is the time to share your brand story and show people that you are the best leader for them.

If you are in banking people need to see that you are confident in your ability and that you know where you’re going. Show that leadership has the experience and the ability to move forward regardless of what current circumstances are. People want leaders and your personal brand will be tested.
