Brand – Image – Business Cards – Fashion
Business cards – Image – Brand – Fashion
How do all of these items blend together? I am often asked to help style headshots for corporate pictures and marketing materials along with business cards. I love this part of my business because I am able use my marketing background along with my love of all things fashion and put it to good use!
(Picture on left is of real estate guru and agent Mimi Lukich – If you are even thinking about selling, buying or looking into investment property; she is the expert to call! Her phone number is, 615.712.3334 and click the picture on the left to be taken to her website! mimi.crye-leike.com!)
If I were to work with you on your corporate pictures, I would ask you these three questions first –
First: What does it mean when someone asks you what your brand is? Do you represent your brand well with your image alone?
Second: What are three words that describe your brand?
Third: How would you like people to describe you and perceive you when they see you – before you’ve ever said a word? (Maybe you would say intelligent, detail oriented, organized, diligent, successful, fun etc). These are the words that describe YOUR brand. It’s not that complicated.
One picture can say all or none of those things – we live in a visual world and you may think that is unfair. It might be unfair, but it is true nontheless so make your image the best it can be! God made us all unique – your image should represent your uniqueness and who you are before you’ve ever said a word or extended your hand to introduce yourself to someone. Your ‘brand’ should also be clear in your headshot. When you meet a new client you don’t have the time and often times the ability to share your resume, your past successes and how good you are at what you do – they have already judged you based upon your appearance alone and what it has said to them…all within THREE SECONDS. DO YOU REPRESENT YOUR BRAND WELL? DOES YOUR PICTURE?
The picture above is of Mimi Lukich, who happens to be a very successful real estate agent. She moved to Nashville from Northern California and needed a business card for her new partnership with Crye-Leike. Her goal was to look approachable and warm (because she is both of those things), professional, successful and yes, even fun. I chose a warm speckled brown background and peachy/red lips and a peach toned jeweled necklace…these colors accent not only her face, give her a warm glow, but also play off of the Crye-Leike logo which is a warm red…by mixing these together she looks crisp, professioanl and approachable…We extended the brown background to be the actual background for her card as well so the logos pop off of the card and differentiate her from the rest!
I would like to persoanlly recommmend her to anyone who is looking to invest in their future -whether it is investement property or a home, she will help turn your dream into a reality. She has decades of experience and she cares more about her clients than any other realtor I’ve ever met. Her advice is based upon what is best for her client, not her own pocketbook. She is detail-oriented and direct, but her clients future is the most important aspect of her job – and she always gets the job done.

Sweet blog! I found it while surfing around on Yahoo News.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
Many thanks

Good morning! Thank you for stopping by and for the compliment – greatly appreciate. My only suggestion for being place anywhere, including Yahoo News, is to keep building your brand and sending your blogs, columns and VLOGS out there…to be know as a thought leader in your specific area. Keep up the posts on social daily, use the right hashtags, curate your stories and DON’T GIVE UP. I didn’t call them, they found me online – You WILL get there…
