Are your employees engaged?
This matters. Brand drives everything – including how loyal your employees are. People work harder for people thye like and who they believe care for them – they also feel more loyal toward a brand that they have a strong connection to.
Brand creates a feeling. Bob Iger, Disney CEO, asks what you ‘feel’ when you think about Disney – he assumes it is a visceral reaction. This is correct – the ‘feeling’ you employees have with your BRAND matters more than anything. You want an engaged workforce? Build your brand, know your values, share what those value MEAN for everyone – most companies have values that are written in a handbook but they mean nothing. Those core value should INSPIRE and breathe life into your brand and into your people.
What do you need to accomplish this?
Brand guides. Training. TONS of communication. Events where they feel connected and are INVOLVED in the brand process. Stories that you are constantly sharing with people. Connection points. Brand days. Love for all you lead.
