I've seen my career really take off over the last few years, but my image wasn't up to par with my new position or responsibilities. I realized that to excel at my job and continue the progression I needed to make some much need updates to my wardrobe. It has been my sincere pleasure working with Mila on several projects and I intend to solicit her guidance in the future as well. She presented fashion and etiquette courses to students in a class I was giving and she was very well received. She was able to present the information in a fun and non-threatening way, which helped the ladies involved to re-think their image and boost their self confidence considerably. Additionally, she worked with me on image for a TV taping of my show. She helped me with determining the best clothes for my unique body type as well as choosing colors and shades for my skin tone. She brought me out of my shell in helping me to entertain new fashion concepts I hadn't considered before.
She helped me to go into the taping with an assurance that my image, or "brand", was cohesive and effective. I was particularly impressed with how she had pre-shopped for me and had a planned, organized and efficient approach to our time together. I hate to shop!! Hate it hate it hate it!! I also don't like the way I look, but I guess most women feel that way. Meeting and working with Mila has truly changed all of that. I still don't like to shop ALONE. Shopping with Mila is a fun, rewarding experience and now I like going into my closet. Most of the time I now get raves over my clothes and I feel good. I spend my clothes dollars much more wisely now. Things fit and they match and mix--even shoes and purses (who knew!)
